With my acrylic-on-canvas approach, the painting builds depth through contrast: darker passages hold the garage’s weight while lighter areas draw the eye toward structure and form.
In The Garage, my abstract realism style comes through in how the scene is suggested rather than simply photographed. Lines and edges feel purposeful, yet softened by painterly transitions that create a subtle sense of memory.

Deep Thought was born from my fascination with quiet introspection. I wanted to explore the human figure not in motion, but in contemplation—a moment where silence speaks louder than words.

I have attempted to capture through my latest painting the magnificence of an amazing photograph of the baobab tree, known for its timeless beauty and resilience, and becoming a powerful metaphor for the strength and endurance of the hostages. Its gnarled branches reach out towards the sky, representing their unwavering spirit and longing for freedom. The warm hues of the sunrise envelop the tree, casting a sense of optimism and tranquility upon the canvas.
Tree of Hope stands as a visual testament to the power of art to convey compassion and empathy.
